Mermaids and Mayhem rises once more for its twelfth annual haunting, summoned from the depths by the Sirens of New Orleans! This year’s Halloween party and fundraiser, Spirits of the Deep, takes place on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Southport Hall.
Dive into a night of mystical celebration, featuring: - A silent auction filled with hidden treasures - Show-stopping costumes and thrilling costume contests - Music and dancing with your favorite mystical krewe - An open bar with signature cocktails - Special guests and surprises from the deep Whether you're a sea creature, spooky spirit, or just here for the party, come dressed to impress and ready to dance the night away! About Beignet Fest Foundation
Beignet Fest Foundation's mission is to celebrate, embrace and empower the lives of children with autism and their families by making grants each year to support New Orleans-area programs that serve children with developmental delays.
In 2022 Beignet Fest Foundation in partnership with Children's Hospital New Orleans commissioned KultureCity to build Benny's Activiation Vehicle, which is fully equipped to provide a safe space of respite and decompression for individuals who may become overwhelmed from the sights, sounds and crowds at local events.
This year, they were able to launch Camp Benny unique inclusive summer camp experience for NOLA children on the spectrum that is sensory friendly, structured with trained staff and programming that helps develop social skills and provide interactive experiences and learning opportunities.
